Carrying Lantern

 

Carrying lantern is a unique tradition in Singapore and Malaysia. On Mid-Autumn Festival, many people especially children will carry a lantern to places such as the park to play. A traditional lantern is usually made of exquisite paper or cellophane. With the development of time, there is also plastic music lantern invented. A type of lantern would only require a battery to operate.
