Handmade DIY Lantern
The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, in addition to buying lanterns, you can also use recyclable materials to make cute lanterns!
Materials:

A piece of A4 paper (from an old magazine)

A hole puncher
-
Two nails
-
A bundle of threads
-
A pair of scissors
-
A ruler
*Please look after your children when they using the scissors or nails
Steps:
1. Cut the paper into small strips of paper (refer to video), 8 strips in total
2. Use a hole puncher to make a hole in the middle and on both sides of each strip of paper
3. Pin all the holes in the middle
4. Use another pin to pin both sides of the paper strips
5. Cut two 30cm thread, and then cut one 15cm threads
6. Fold the 30cm thread (refer to video) and tie it with a 15cm thread
7. Cut the ends of the tied thread, grab the ends of the thread facing down, and tie it tightly with the thread
8. Tie this decoration to one of the pins
9. Tie the remaining 30cm thread to another pin
You're done!
